Dramatic Interpretation    
   

About this format:
Contestants will present an interpretation of material of literary value from a dramatic work.

Generally speaking, the interpretation is based off a work that is more serious in its tone. Individuals may use one selection or create a program that develops a theme using two or more selections.

Participants may not use costumes, props, or make- up. They may, however, use a manuscript.

Max Time= 10 minutes. Individuals who violate the ten minute rule will be penalized at the judge’s discretion.

The Demosthenian Literary Society assumes no liability for copyright infringements.
